Janice Yost was honored by the Central Mass YWCA with its Katharine F. Erskine Award for her work with social science and government, specifically for her work as President and CEO of the Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts.
The foundation focuses on the changing health needs of the region, combining its charitable mission with a spirit of innovation and awarding grants to promising initiatives as well as kicking off some of its own.
Yost has also been praised for her work to combat chronic adult homelessness. Her leadership role in fighting for that issue and her work with United Way and the Worcester Economic Club only add to her star-studded resume and history of making a difference in Central Mass.
